Kinethiq is a family-friendly indoor cycling platform offering instructor-led classes live online, on demand, and in person.

Information We Collect

• Basic account details such as name and email address
• Account activity related to class bookings and attendance
• Ride activity data such as ride time, duration, estimated distance, power, cadence, calories, and BikeKNX device details where available
• Messages submitted through access requests or contact forms
• Technical information such as IP address and browser details for security purposes
• Strava-related connection data if you choose to connect Strava, including Strava athlete ID, athlete first name and last name, OAuth access token, OAuth refresh token, token expiry time, and connection, update, and disconnection timestamps

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only where necessary to:

• Provide access to the Kinethiq platform and its features
• Manage class bookings, memberships, and account activity
• Record and display your own Kinethiq ride activity within your Kinethiq account
• Upload completed Kinethiq rides to your own Strava account if you have chosen to connect Strava
• Refresh your Strava authorization when needed so that connected uploads continue to work
• Communicate important information about your account or classes
• Maintain platform security and prevent misuse

Strava Integration

Kinethiq allows members to connect their own Strava account so that completed Kinethiq indoor cycling rides can be uploaded to Strava.

Kinethiq only uploads rides to Strava for users who have chosen to connect their own Strava account through Strava OAuth.

Kinethiq uses Strava-related data only to connect your Kinethiq account to your Strava account, refresh your authorization when needed, and upload completed Kinethiq rides to your own Strava account.

Kinethiq does not sell Strava data, does not use Strava data for advertising, does not scrape Strava, and does not display one athlete’s Strava data to another user.

You can disconnect Strava at any time from Your Profile. Once disconnected, Kinethiq stops uploading rides to Strava and revokes the Strava authorization where possible.

Cookies

Kinethiq uses essential cookies required for login sessions, preferences, and security. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is shared only where necessary to operate the platform or where required by law.

If you connect Strava, Kinethiq may send completed Kinethiq ride activity data to Strava so that the activity appears in your own Strava account. Kinethiq does not share your Strava connection data with other Kinethiq users.

Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal obligations, or maintain platform security.

Strava OAuth tokens are retained only while your Strava account remains connected to Kinethiq. If you disconnect Strava, Kinethiq stops using those tokens and marks the Strava connection as revoked.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, request corrections, or ask for deletion where appropriate.

You can disconnect Strava at any time from Your Profile. Disconnecting Strava stops future Kinethiq uploads to Strava.
